Had an RC5HL control 'translator' for Heng Long tanks arrive in the post from RC Tanks Australia the other day. Today I wired it up in a Heng Long Sherman ready for a test and it ran perfectly. The only adjustment I had to make was to reverse channel 2 on the transmitter. The radio I am using is a Futaba T6J.

I was never keen on the Heng Long 27mhz standard radio and this has worked out well as an alternative. Next jobs on the tank are to fit a micro servo for gun elevation (going to use channel 6 for this) and to wire up a small speed control to the turrent rotation motor.

Nice one RC Tanks Australia - your RC5HL does exactly what it should.

RC Aussie (Kevin) has great products and I have nothing but amazing experience with him.
