does rx-14 have better sound than rx-18?

The question as in title. Does rx-14 board has better sound than rx-18? I've red something about it on other forums. I've watched some films on youtube and i think ist right. Older tanks with HL rx-14 sound better, than mine.

thx, does it mak sense to change rx-18 to rx-14? Are they similar in tank movement? (slow ride etc?)

From what I understand the drive control isn't as good on the rx14.

If you have space I would suggest putting both in your tank the rx18 to do all the controls and he rx14 for the sounds.

Not at all.

You need to make the 3 wire from receiver to RX18 into a Y cable so goes from receiver to both RX14 & RX 18, same with the power lead. Then plug volume and speaker into RX14 and that's it.

The controller send signal to the receiver which sends to both 14 & 18 the 14 makes the noises and the 18 does the driving.

just as i think, but i have no idea how to make these wires - soldering only is needed? some special tools?

I normally solder them on to the existing leads.

can you take a picture and show here how ist it made ? is it worth doing it? ( i can buy rx-14 in a quite low price ex 12& (in polish zloty)

If you’ve got the bits already it worth it, if you haven’t probably not as although the RX14 does sound better it isn’t that brilliant.

I don’t have any pictures of the Y cable made sorry.
