Hmm,
Iv'e only 2 suggestions left.
Can you video it in action so we can see what it's doing?
Failing that, where are you located? Maybe someone is local to you & might be able to fix it for you

+1 for Listers idea....Please can you video it and let us have a look.
Could it be a 'miscast' track link that has a bit of the 'flashing' sticking out that is stopping the track from 'folding' properly as it goes around the drive sprocket ?......Perhaps have a good close look at the track off the tank......try rolling the track 'tightly' in your hands (as it would turn around the drive sprocket) and see if it binds...

Just to flog a dead horse how far does it roll before it binds. One track length? I know you said ten feet but does it do it consistantly at the same distance or does it vary. The guys are right video would help... Show it on the stand and running to the bind.

Run the tanks with the top off. Stop the tank as soon as it snags and have a good look at it. Move the tank backwards and forwards by hand and see if you can see whats catching.
I've had something like like this happen to a couple of my tanks.
Tiger- the track was catching on the idler every now and again because it wasn't aligned properly with the wheels.
T34- a pin had come out slightly (towards the tank) and sometimes it'd catch on a screw on the side on the hull.
I've also had problems with damaged gearboxes.

What brand is the tank? I've had similar problems with some of my HENG LONGS... in most cases... yes ... it is the tracks... but in general.. it was due to the track's tension....if it's too loose it will bunch up and bind... if it's too tight...your gearboxes will run tight and overheat your motor
A quick check to see if they are correct is a fast method... just lift up your tank and see how much track sag you have... I've found if you have more than a tooth and a half hanging off your bogie that's about right... any more any less.. you will start having problems
