Due to zero submissions this month, I've decided to use this month to play catch up, and turn this TOTM into the missed Christmas special, although it's now a summer special.
therefore I shall be transferring all the 2nd place entries of 2021 here for voting.
I will temporarily lock this thread while I populate it.
You can find this month's dedicated chat thread here.

Hi,
To warm up the winter, here is a Vietnam era Sheridan. Its the Tamiya static version converted to RC with Clark control board, Mato gearbox, Vietnam modifications, etc. The figures and accessories are conversions from Sol Models, Verlinden, Dragon and other. Pictured in my wife's garden last summer.
Regards, Louis

Hi,
Here is a RC 1/10 WW2 British Desert SAS Jeep.
I was always impressed by the SAS "Soldier of fortune" look and feel, open Jeep, loaded with machine guns and fuel. Who would not want to take an afternoon ride with these guys.
This is a highly modified 1/10 scale Q65 truck. First, I made it a real crawler by replacing the very small motor and gearbox with a WPL gearbox with 370 size motor. Then i reworked the axels and suspension to be at the proper spacing and height. Jerrycans for the SAS transformation come from Ebay Germany Dioramaparts and Shapeways provided the twin K machine guns. As it was really weird to see an open Jeep driving itself, two figures were created from 1/10 resin SAS figure busts available on eBay, which were mounted on a modified 1/10 action figure body and integrated on a best effort basis. The .50 cal machine gun came with the resin SAS gunner bust figure. One main issue with the Q65 is the scale and dimensions, a mixture of 1/9 to 1/12 scale depending on the section being measured. The build can be seen at viewtopic.php?f=23&t=30146.
Regards, Louis

Hello,
This is a torro KV1 . I have done a small amount of detail , like mesh air intakes , bolt hooks on rear , filled in bits , and cut off bits ,like the circles on the roof ,remade the front light and added a smaller cooler led that gives a more vintage glow , made the antenna and engine cover cable and hook , it has a main gun flash and machine gun flash, and I also added 4 opening metal hatches. I gave it a repaint and weathered then added some hits . Also installed the Taigen series 3 5.1 metal gearbox and covered . Then fitted it with the Elmod Eco and connected the only servo to the main gun recoil . Also fitted the full Elmod IR battle system and fitted a Tarr smoker . Also made a new KV Sound set , all start ,drive ,stop, brake , gearchange revs etc all taking from real tank sounds and put in , also 24 user sounds installed , you can find the build thread here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=31417 . Also put all the sounds on the Elmod forum .
Must admit that this is my first attempt at modelling for about 40 years when I was a kid and even then I didn't do much . so pitting myself against a master modeller like Imcq11 and the superb SHANTY IRISH is a bit like Mr Bean going 12 rounds with Conor McGregor , in 1 corner the naive eejit and the other the master engineer . But it's about showing off what we're proud off , and I'm good at that! . And Imcq11 , I am also going to use that moving gun idea in my tiger and I've already ordered some dark steel pigment for my Sherman . Love your Stuart.

Hello to all,
here is No.3 submission from the Diesel :
My M47 Patton is converted out of a Tamiya Pershing kit. The functions are full option and the turret is made in 3D-print (Shapeways). The gearbox controller is SGS TVC-B10 (old version) and of course a Beier USM-RC-2 is included
Sorry, at the moment I don't have more pictures ....

I'll start! Takom 1/16 scale Renault FT static plastic model converted to radio control. Details in my "Renault on a Budget" thread. Heng Long 1:30 motor and electronics. In lieu of turret rotation, I chose to detail the crew compartment. Crew and engine hatches made to open.
No headlight on this tank, so I placed a light inside instead.
