Coming Soon M7 Preist
Coming Soon M7 Preist
A few people have asked me about doing this for Shapeways so I've spent the past few months designing new parts and making the SW friendly-
Here's a render of the finished thing -
It's broken down into parts so people can buy the parts they want and scratch the rest. More details here-

I'm uploading it all now and getting it past the auto checks so hopefully it'll be ready in the next few days.

Re: Coming Soon M7 Preist
Good morning,
As a kit, this would stand a great chance of getting to me intact since it is already in pieces. ( plus, I've always wanted a Priest for long range American arty support )
regards,
Painless

It's not going to be cheap as its all printed by Shapeways. The main hull is $150 on its own.

Re: Coming Soon M7 Preist
Having scratchbuilt mine I can tell you that $150 is cheap to get the quality shown, I know how much blood, sweat, frustration, and bad language it takes to make something like that. Good on yer Woz, maybe we can start an artillery division at the shows!

Hi all. bear in mind you only need a running chassis which I bought from forgebear for £40, and consider the material and the amount of work involved particularly building the howitzer.... I can tell you that building that howitzer was an absolute pain in the fundament! The result will be a stunning spg which is just not available currently as a kit or an off-the-shelf. It may cost a few bob but well worth it to produce a great result.
Your end result can look like this

Hadn't realised they used the M3 and M4 bogeys - different production years or field repairs?
There's also the Kangaroo conversion.....
