Hi Alan just a thought when your playing with these pigment then mix a few up IE.=old rust standard rust followed by light rust and then you will see how how it all comes together,( and I mean place one on at a time not all at once) well enjoy your playing,............

Just glued in place at the moment, but I think I have some small 2mm bolts around somewhere, so as it is on the metal hull, I will drill and tap the holes and fix it solid.
Now off to play with the pigments :D

Looks bloody great Alan ,and I,ll tell you what makes it for me , well it,s the bag that has the red cross on it ,that now makes this model of yours priceless,...............

Thanks Pete,
I must confess that the "medical field pack" is a bought item, I just added the straps and fixed into place, as with all the other bags.
BTW, I'm having fun with the pigments, I'm playing with the Allied Green for fading, I am very aware of the fact that Oddball tank in the film is a lot lighter in shade than my model at the moment, an this will help to lighten the overall shade.

FINISHING OFF/WEATHERING

First of all I removed Oddball and all the othe non-permenantly fixed stowage and gave the whle tank a coating of Klear.
Then had a play with Mig Pigments Allied green for fading.

Another coat of Klear, the a subtle dark wash.

Another seal with Klear then playing with other Mig Pigments mostly European Earth colours.

At the weekend I will remove the tracks (AGAIN :crazy: ) and dirty them up and add some final touches like fuel and oil stains.

Now she looking nice and dusty , you sure did have fun with those mig pigments ,......don,t let this happen to your sherman , mine slipped off a small mountain in Wales at the weekend at a SWAG event ,if fact I rolled her no less than four or five times ,but just put the innards back in and off again,...................but in the end she cried enough...............
