Let´s do the tow cables next. Take the old ones, cut the heads and drill a hole according the rope diameter you want to use.

Then make new mounts.

Figure out the right length of the ropes and mount them.

Ok, everything I wanted to change has been changed.

There are three things that are still not ok on that model.

1. The angle off the lower front plate is incorrect. It should be changed. But that is not that easy.

2. The position of the drive wheel is also incorrect. That should be changed together with 1.

3. The little back up roll positioned directly behind the drive wheel to prevent the tracks touching the transmission housing is missing. That one is easy to add. I just forgot it.

That´s it. Now let the baby be painted.

Here is the result:

The pattern is a compromise. I found this pattern on Vincent Abbots home page and I liked it. So I used it.

My good old brushmaster didi the job for me. Here is what he created

That´s it. I hope you like it. And I hope I could give you some ideas to do details in the easy way.

Meanwhile this baby is not mine anymore. But anyhow I wanted to show you this one.

Good Morning,
Another amazing build! Lucky fellow who has that one. The little track control wheels? I thought about those but since I am not using metal tracks and suspension on my Panther, I opted to leave them off. They can be added later if needed.
