When I say "Whoa!" I mean "Whoa!"
Who, How, When, did you get that printed (right?) upper hull?

It’s a high quality Profeline conversion kit that is quite old and seldom seen these days.
Almost reluctant to cover the magnificent Zimmerit with concrete but there will be enough showing to still be of value.
Long way from kick off as I need to gather parts but that’s the plan

"Hey Gunther, how thick do you want the concrete?"
Gunther: "Yes!"
Love the picture with the reinforcing wire showing where the concrete has been shot away.
Mike.

Well folks, this switch-a-roony project is back on !
The Tamiya version is loving life with its new owner and its time to get this conversion version finally up & running.
Now, first thing is to find the donor model and remove bits until the poor thing resembles scrap.
I remember this old Pz IV build as one that put me off ever doing another one...............

Getting the thing apart I realise that while the job at the time was good enough, it is far from where I am now.
The suspension is awful. Taigen metal replacements back then, just awful and it never did run very well.
I usually like to build from the lower hull up and I really need to do that again to improve the state of the running gear before moving on to the fun stuff.
This will have the H/L drive sprocket height made better if not perfect and the idler dropped. The last return roller has already been dropped lower.
On we go..............
