Mato speaker in a Torro

Post by 761st »

I have a Mato and Torro Pz III. The Mato speaker is small enough to use a full-size battery. Are there any issues with compatibly if I put the Mato speaker in the Torro.

Hello, a priori, I would say yes, compatible, what type of plate do you have? after to be sure, you have to know the impedance of the HP (resistance in Ohms 4 or 8 Ohms, most often) normally indicated on the magnet of the HP? but you have to open it!!!

I agree with Jofaur that checking the resistance will help you identify compatibility. I once did the opposite swap, putting a Torro/Taigen speaker into one of the old plastic Mato M4 Shermans. It sure helped the Mato which was very quiet with its own speaker, and there have never been any problems.

Thanks guys. The smaller Mato speaker is a better fit.
