I like the M113 and I always thought that somebody would finally get wise and come out with a motorized one RTR. I even suggested it to Eric at Mato some years ago since if anybody could float the idea to those who might actually make one someday, I figured it would be someone like him but of course, nothing out there still. You'd think the M113 would be a natural for an RTR tank, since Ludwig actually makes the BMP, and motorize it then that one ought to be next...lmcq11 wrote:Hi,
Here is an Australian M113 Medium Recon Vehicle (MRV) in 1/16 scale. It features the following;
- Ludwig basic polystyrene M113 kit and 3D roadwheels
- Spiker workshop 3D Scorpion turret
- Tank Modellbau M113 metal suspension, sprockets, idlers and tracks.
- Mato Panzer III gearbox
- Clark Tk40 control board
- Scratch build M113 Australian MRV modifications
- Detailed interior
- Turret rotation, 76mm gun elevation, recoil, flash and sound
- Coax machine gun flash and sound
- Servo operable rear ramp
- Head light, tail lights and interior lighting.
And here is a short YOUTUBE video of the model in operation.

Okay, I just changed my shirt. I'll admit I was thinking the same thing but wasn't going to go down that path! I guess I shouldn't have been surprised knowing a bit about your character now!
Once again, you've been naughty, very, very naughty!
Cheers,
Eric.
