Panzer III and T-34/85

Post by Dark46 »

I've recently bought the metal Panzer III and T-34/85 . After buying 2 King Tigers that were from Heng Long I decided to get Torro/Taigen next to see the difference. Boy what a difference!
For a start as I newcomer to RC stuff the difference in paint finish is completely different. Then the weight difference because I went for the metal is incredible. As much as I like the 2 KT's taking the top de is off the hills is a faff, theTagien system is far better as there isn't 8 screws to mess with.

The T-34/85 came with a V3 board and after a few minutes searching I was able to turn off the track recoil, this to me makes things so much better. At least now the Commander doesn't get thrown out the coppola when firing lol.

As for all those screws. There are ways of eliminating them, some use strong magnets on the screw posts
The Taigen V3 system has a switch to disable the track recoil !!

You will see the magic switch on the motherboard here if you look thru all the pictures.

It's a tiny switch that I had to get a pair of tweezers on to move.

That's already done on the early turret KT, but thanks for the tip.
