£270 for the boat without esc. He thinks crated up it will be 63"x18"x12" which is going to be close to the parcel force large load limits. To be honest I past it because there's no way I can move and handle it alone. An it won't fit in the car!

That's pretty huge ...sounds like you would need a trailer and a garage for it as well....You could still build one...maybe the guy has the blue prints... you could scale it down.. parts might be difficult to find though... and to be honest... a tough build... one thing about wood... bending it isn't easy

Tom you must have a small car mate. I get my 76" inch Hood into my jag and the jag has really crap carrying capability. She has a beam of around 8" but a height of 26". Granted i need to take her superstructure off to get her in but the hull fits no problem with the seat down. Obviously if you dont have folding rear seats then you do have a problem.
