Panther metal arm problem

Hello all,

I have recently upgraded the plastic suspension arms to Asiatam one and unfortunately the arms cannot align properly. :'( :'( :'( The arm should be mounted in parallel with the side of the lower hull but actually it does some angle (please see attached drawing). The problem is the wheels are contacted together and hence creating large resistance while running. I did try to add a small washer underneath the mount Allen bolt but it became loose once the arm was moving. I was wondering if someone is experiencing the same problem or anyone had this problem before.

Thank you. :)

Hello all.

I have found where the problem was. The leg of the original spring has a large outwards angle which cases a foce pushes the arm outwards. Even you tighted the allen bolt. what I did was to bend this leg to a level or even small angle inwards (please see attachment). In which case, the spring will not push the arm outwards. I didnt notice the spring for the frist time but now the problme has been sorted out.

Thank you guys.
