Metal or steel gears

Hmmmm I don't know whether to get some metal gears for my Panther or steel.
Which is better?
Steel are a couple of quid more than metal?

Steel , the cast zinc gears can be problematic .

Yep Steel for sure, and if you have metal track, sprockets and idler upgrades the cast zinc ones will wear teeth off gears if there is any play in the gearboxes

My suggestion is the 3 to 1. Steel gears from asiatam. The steel ones will take the abuse.

and they are a LOT quieter/silents also!
