Sounds good, very much would like to see this on the Market. Do you guys think we should let TORRO know how much the market wants a British Tank, and that tank should be the CENTURION!

Any suggestions of how we could get this issue before the manufacturers and prove that this would be a very successful RC TANK in the world market?

I know of no tank that has endured as long,or proven it's value so well in modern Tank Warfare of the last century as the Centurion, the Battle of GOLAN HIEGHTS proved this machine had firepower and value against overwhelming odds of RUSSIAN ARMOR yet it held the battle field.

Seems to me if they know it's wanted they just might produce it,could it really hurt to ask?

Let them know how much British Armor is wanted in this Hobby- webmaster@torro-gmbh.de

One thing Torro / Asiatam could do now is produce the PANTHER.JAGDPANTHER lower hull, that would complete the Heavy and Medium product line.

The Centurion just amazes me during the Golan Heights battles, even without the Night Fighting ability they held their own,and in day light they demonstrated what an excellent gun platform they were. Deadly when handled with a proper trained crew.
Their is no way they should have not only won the battle but caused a massive force to be halted and overcome. Truly a fine machine so why has Tamiya ,Heng Long, and all the rest not produced one?

Well said! It would surely be among the most popular releases ever! As I've said elsewhere, the sheer number of different versions prodeuced would make for fantastic conversion possibilities - mks 1 -13, ARV, AVRE, bridgelayer, BARV, not to mention Shot Cal and all the other Israeli versions, including APCs, which are STILL in service!

Great to see the Centurion come on line, however the Sheman was actually in use until 2002. The longest active military tank in existence. The Isherman certainly surprised the T55 armed Arabs.

Both great pieces of armour that have had a never ending evolution of upgrades. I would love to see a Churchill or a Matilda available. I have always found the Churchill to be a facinating piece of armor.

I have already sent an email to them regarding this as i think the Centurion is the longest serving tank, Yes british army still has one used as a BARV today so my older brother in army says so.
They were a very forgotten tank in terms of performance goes, i mean king tigers were remembered as great, but often broke down before they left factory, lol.

Brett:
It seems most of the German heavy tanks had issues, however they had a hell of a sting. I feel had the Persing come into service prior to D-day in numbers it may have changed much for the allies. The 90MM gun could easily penetrate German heavy armor. I am still a huge fan of the Firefly and the 17 Pounder. Hence the reason I elected to build one that was accurate, but an unusual verson. I also took the time to prod them for new Brit and US armor. I think a Lee/Grant could be interesting as well.

Agree the sherman with british 17 pounder was a fast tank with hell of a punch, and pershing was also great tank.
Why dont these company's make some decent models, seem's to be same models redone over and over by all rc tank companys.
