I am trying to come up with the best IR Emitter mount for tanks the need to have the Emitter clipped or strapped to the barrel.

The idea is to have something that is easily attached and removed, that doesn't mark up the paint on the barrel.

I will come up with something, but am not too proud to ask for some ideas.

You could get one of the Tamiya barrel clips.

Here's my answer to my question.

This was a "nice to have" for my HL KT which was not condusive to having an emiiter in the mantlet which can elevate, so the perminant emitter is fixed horizontally in the front of the turret.

This is OK for most of our club events, however, when I convert my Jadgpanther to IR, I will need a barrel mount.

I like to display my tanks without the emitter and receiver, so removable gear is what I wanted.

Seemed like a good dry run for the JP to do something up for the KT.

One of our club members suggested that blue sticky stuff, I was skeptical at first, howwever............................
