Hello, I would like to add some chains to my HL Tiger. I have the chain 1/16 th scale, but I'm
stuck on how to properly attach them to either the deck or the front or rear tow lugs.
Thanks for your help, Kevin

Just a fyi....heavy and med weight tanks did not use chains, those were only seen on light tanks. Say you get your 56 ton tiger stuck in the mud, you would need a chain/chains rated to pull about 70-80 tons to get that beast out of the mud. Do you know what a chain that is rated to pull 35-80 tons looks like? Think battleship ankor chains, not to many people tossing around ankor chains to tow a tank. Thats why they used cables.

Yes Ruben, Those were my thoughts exactly. I have the branch, several actually. I also have the chain, but what I'm not sure about is how to attach them to the tank. I also have the tow cables and metal shackles for them.
Thanks, Kevin

Ok, the chain I have is just chain, no clasps or hardware of any kind.
Where did you get your clasps from? Or did you make them? I like the idea of attaching the log to the tow cable, I thought in the back I would try to attach it to the engine covers.
But the issue is hardware to do so.
Thanks, Kevin

I found many different chain types at Michael's craft stores in the section that has all the stuff to make your own jewelery. They have many different chain link sizes, chain finishes and chain lengths fairly inexpensive. I bought some copper burnished ones that I use to hold the "logs" on the sides of my Tigers. I think I paid a total of $5.00 for three different chains. I could show you a pic if I knew how to attach one.
