If you are interested in the Taigen Tiger I you might want to check out the latest collection From Dominique at rctank.de aswell.. He offers most tanks with lots of metal upgrades and now even with the latest 2.4Ghz electronics installed.. I see there are also Tiger I's now that come with the same cool wooden crate my King Tiger came with.. Not all are late Tiger I's though.. Check here: http://www.rctank.de/index.php?cPath=12 ... anguage=en

Wow I looked at that Site and then I looked around at some others. Why is your tanks so expensive. I can get. The same tank parts that you guys can at roughly the same price in Cdn dollars. May not sound like much until you find out 1euro is equal to about 1.5 Canadian dollars.
So what makes the huge difference? Taxes?

FreakyDude the euro exchange rate is not doing very well against most other currency's at the moment, a lot of the country's in the euro zone are in a very poor financial state so the exchange rate is in the other country's favour at the moment so importing into the euro zone from Asia means its more expensive than it was a year or so ago, hence higher prices in euro's.

Mine works just fine, never had a problem with it.

Accurate? What do you mean, as far a scale?

Its still a Heng Long with the upper deck and turret/barrel slightly off scale.

Still looks good.

I've had one for 6 months with no problems. Runs great, looks great, and the smoker even works! Can't get a Tiger 1 with all the upgrades for the money spent on the Taigen Tiger 1!

UK prices in Pounds are even higher, so I very much doubt it's a Euro exchange rate issue..

+/- 20% tax is already included in these European prices, otherwise I do not know why prices in Canada etc are aparently cheaper (are they really?).. To compare prices of other "luxury" goods, I bought some nice German Sioux dress shoes last month for 125 Euro's, I checked and the same shoes are over 350 Dollars in both the USA and Canada, explain that?
