This is a picture of the HL M41A3 that I modified heavily in order to get it to down to the correct dimensions of width length and hieght in 1/16 scale. Then I made it a early M41 by making the early cast style muzzzle brake. The drivers hatch operates, the turret ventilator has been enlarged to the correct size and the turret top center 50 cal mount moved to the correct location. I also opened two of the access panels in the rear deck, one large grill on the right side is hinged so to recharge the battery one needs only to open it lift out the charging plug and plug it to the charger. The other is the top center rear panel that is hinged, and has the missing handels added to it that can be opened to easily refill the smoke unit. Also the gearboxes had to be tilted well down into the hull at their fronts in order to lower the whole hull top down enough to correct the heighth of the tank. Lowering it causes the tank to shorten to the correct length without having to change the 2 front and one rear screw holes that I use to hold it together but the lower hull in the front has to have plastic sheet cut and fitted to match the new location of the top hulls front lip and the light guards on the hull top front must be moved back so the new lofting rings will fit. The must work was cutting the track to narrow it and modifiying the road wheels to match its much narrower stance.
