hi i have just got the taigen up grade to turn the tank digital. everything went ok putting it in. but not sure were the socket for the gun recoil goes. everything work as it should do apart from the main gun sound and recoil. the instruction are unclear on this one.

madmonk, can you post a quick vid of your taigen when you get this sorted? I wouldn't mind seeing and hearing how this new 2.4 system is.

madmonk25, you say it's a big imporvement, I wonder what exactly does that mean? What is much better? Just the sound, the remotecontrol or also better proportional drive? Please let us know..

the sound is a lot louder then the old speaker , the machine gun sounds a lot better then the old one.the controller is a lot better then the standerd one.takes less batteries, only 6.controls a lot better then the old one . i changed the gears to steel ones,4.1 ratos if thats what they called. no more Arial on the back of tank,lose all of the old analog stuff inside tank. easy to put in. just have trouble working out were the recoil plug goes ? lost the sound and recoil .thats my only trouble so far. but its early days yet as i only got it yesterday . but this is what i have seen so far of improvements.

As far as I know all the plugs which went into the RX18 go into the same ones on this new board.

There is a 2 wire plug which comes off the recoil unit (this activates the sound and recoil of the tracks)

and look at the 3 image. The top port 3 MQ Fire as far as I know the 2 wire plug goes in the there but only on the 2 pins on the right (looking at it like the image). That is where it goes on the RX18 and like I say I understand this new board is the same for connections.

yes i put it there. but i do not get nothing from it may be a fault but not sure yet. waiting for someone who's got one too . so i know for sure.
