I was trying to make sense of the wheel mountings - do they mount in pairs on the Elefant? I'd always assumed it used a Tiger/KT/Panther hull?

There are two bogeys on either end of a single arm. The arm itself is mounted to the hull on a pivoting joint. The Elefant/Ferdinand/Porsche Tiger is it's own thing and not related to the Tiger/KT/Panther. In fact there is no real direct relation mechanically between any of them other than they (Tiger, KT and Panther) share similar engines. The Elefant/Ferdinand shares more in common with the Maus.

Thanks. I knew the three tanks were different, but I'd assumed one donated it's hull to the Elefant. I did build a 1:72 kit about 30 years ago but can't remember!
