hello all. I have bourght a taigen panther/tiger, before i learned that it is not a real panther. But thats not the real isue. The left track will not run forward. All other funktions works fine. I have tried another ( known to work) sender ( transmitter?) ,but problem is the same. Have tried to switc the 2 motors but problem is the same. Is it the rx18 board or the reciever? Anyone?

well if it was the reciever either everything works or nothing works, I don't believe the reciever itself controls specific functions.
Does the particular track motor run when wired directly to a known good battery? ( in a forward motion I mean )
if the motor moves then either the wiring has a bad connection or the RX18 is blown.
the wires need to be checked for seated pins etc and if that is all good then an RX18 is probably in order.

try swopping your leads on your motors over ie left to right if the problen transfers, then it points to your rx 18 ?

My troubles are endles.

Got another rx18 from the store where i bourght the Panther. Since they do not carry spareparts it was taken from another tank. It was sent to a wrong adress and when I finally got it none of the tracks would move at all. The store will not help me with anotherone again so I bourght a new one from welshdragon. I got it today and tried it out at once. One track will not reverse :'(

I have a Taigen tiger aswell, and when I put the RX 18's into that, the problems moves over into the tiger. This telling me, it must be the RX 18 that are the problems ?
But out of the 4 that are in my possession , 3 are defect. Is that normal? ( even for chinese standards). How many will i have to buy, before i can expect a fully funktioning one.

I cant return the tank, because I have started modifying it heavely, trying to make it look more like a real Panther.
