Here you will find the whole building process of my tank, where it began as a idea to sheets of plywood to a fully functional R/C tank. It took me about 5 months to complete, working on it whenever I get the time. Feel free to comment and ask questions!!
Here it is all finished
Weight : 12.5 kg scale : 1/12

My motivation

Where I got my measurements
Scaling everything up
x2 12V drill motots with planetarygearbox up front
Angle grinder gears and 10mm stainless shaft
Steel swingarms custom bent at an engineering shop.
Plastic track pads
Bloting everything together.
Milling my whlles out of plastic.
x2 bearings for each wheel, press fitted into the wheel.

Turret and upper hull constructed uot of model grade plywood.

The 2 drill speed controllers with reverse, worked with servos. It took me a while figuring out how to work them
Deatailing
I have put in a monster of a battery, this means i can fool aroun longer and gives my tank some weight' thus more grip
Suspention working nicely
