Use a wood box from a round Camembert or Brie to build crates.
The wood is thin and easy to work with..

The rounded bottom and tops work a treat and have real structure in them..

Hi Bosshaug ,
Nice idea !!..I use ' ice Lollypop sticks'....they work well and are fairly easily cut with a sharp 'stanley' type of knife and being wood they glue easily with either super-glue or of course wood glue.
I have a never ending supply of the 'sticks' because my 3 1/2 year old loves 'icy lolly's'...as he says....

The things you get to stir your coffee in 'Starbucks' and Costa' are ideal for this too. I often half-inch a handfull!
