Am I going daft(no one dare agree

)or is there a post somewhere that
shows how to modify the HL airsoft gun into a recoil unit?

Hi Miggers,
As far as I know you can't convert the airsoft into a recoil.
You can convert the HL recoil so operates in the correct direction. Hers the guide.
http://www.rccommand.com/guides/hlrecoilmod.php
Hopefully that is what you wanted.
Ian.

Hi Miggers,

You can convert an airsoft unit to recoil, I did it on my Sherman build and retained the airsoft function (
http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... =23&t=7587 near bottom).
It is probably easier and more accurate to do it with a servo etc. but I just thought Id mention it can be done
Cheers, Dave

That's the baby.
Love the "smoking gun" bit too, something I've often wondered about if it could be done.
Thanks boys.
Next question is,can I stop the tank recoil jazz with my Tiger's Rx13 board?
I've seen it can be done by using two Rx18 boards(one for tank motion, the other for turret functions)
but I wonder if it'd work with an older Rx13.

OOOH,
That's a question, i know it can be done with the RX18 by soldering a resistor on the bottom of the board, but on the old boards Hmmm, will have a look around and let you know.Look on RCtanksaustralia Again at the ATRC II board, it cuts into motors and three wires on the board. its cheap to, Worth a look mate,

Good man.
I've seen the ATRC board, will it play with the RX13 and if so,I'd need someone to
knock one up for me.
