Panzer 1V sloping back

Hi just thought I would post these pics, I never thought I would be capable of cutting and shutting the rear engine deck to get the slope, but I finally took the bull by the horns and had a go, knowing that if the worst come to the worst I could buy a new body! Any way I managed it and I am quite pleased by how it looks. Definitely looks more like the real thing. The engine covers are only placed in at the moment I tried cutting the panels out with the thread method, worked OK, but the apertures still need cleaning up a bit before I finally fix the covers in!. Now the look of the turret stowage box is beginning to annoy me, so I will have to have ago at that LOL!

PS. still needs a bit of tidying up.

Cheers Colin.

What I read was that the slope should be the same angle as the slope at the front, and it starts from the back of the air intakes to the rear of the tank.
hope that makes sense.

Colin.
