1/6 German WW2 VW Kubelwagen Type 82

I know i didnt really need it but the price was right ,$51 on fleabay (i got to stop looking on there)
So maybe another RC project ,has anyone done an RC one of these?

Your best of talking to Mark stug85 he has turned a 1/6 willy jeep into full Rc I've had a go with it and it works great! I think he used rock crawler axels give him a pm I'm sure he can help! :thumbup:

Hi mate I've recently bought a RC converted Dragon Kubelwagen . The original owner used a Tamiya Gravel hound for the components . It runs very well . I have the Schwimwagen to do myself

Great mate , if you Google RC converted Kubelwagens several build post will come up. But it can be done mate . im no starting my Schwimwagen just yet as have a planed 250 build I would like to start first.

I just picked this thing up and it's massive ,one RC convertion coming up.
Also got a dolly off him for a driver ,couldnt help myself and had to have a play.

I got my donor buggy today from patrick at hobby summit , so now its on to RC the big one.
This is the same chassis as the gravel hound ,so should be fun to do ,stay tuned

Been getting stuck into this one and is hard to put down it's that much fun ,still very hard chopping up a new tamiya buggy

Have got all the base coat down ,this thing really needs alot of paint ,but thats the hard part done.
