Hey guys.
I ordered a KV1 from a guy on ebay. It was supposed to be a SAS version. The version he sent didn't include smoke or even mention sound.. I sent it back and he sent back an IR version. I am afraid to open it, so I thought I'd ask. Does the IR version make sounds and smoke? Or is it just recoil and the front light? Thanks. I want to open it so bad but not if this isn't the right one!

as far as I know....all ir tanks are smoke and sound.

I think mustclime is correct, to be IR they need to have the RX18 board and that is the latest version of the smoke and sound boards.
