HL Panzer III standard lower hull good enough?

I hear so many rumours about how great it is and how one should change the lower hull of the HL Panzer III to a asiatam. But I also hear about some who leave the lower hull and plastic wheesls on and use is 'as is' with many years of performance providing one doesnt use it rough and hard for several hours a week.
I do wish to change to the metal asiatam lower hull with metal arms BUT can one then use the plastic road wheel and plastic track if one wishes and not use metal wheels and metal tracks? Any thoughts or experience on these thoughts anyone. Any of you lads tried using a tank without changing anything on the drives? Or how much of a mix of the parts has worked for you?
(Also I hear same going for the Mato Sherman,, some use it as is with no problems..) B| PLeased to hear..

Hi Bosshaug,
I built a Stug III same tub as the Panzer III . I kept the original HL tub but added metal suspension , track tension adjusters , metal drive sprockets , idlers and return rollers , and also added metal tracks . It runs fine on the plastic road wheels . however the metal up grade set does give you the rubber outer rims . If your keeping the standard road whees a little tip when you paint the rubber areas on the wheels dont use black go for a dark grey . I initialy did mine in black but it just didnt look right so after seeing another build were they were dark grey I thought thats the look I want and did it that way.
