RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hi everyone,

Been lurking here for a while and thought that I would sit down and introduce myself. My name is Geoff, married with a 7 year old boy (so modelling time is somewhat limited!) but I have been modeling on and off for a few years... Have got some RC (couple of 450 size helis that are usually in a state of repair and a Tamiya Wild Willy 2) but am about to start a Tamiya Jagdpanther I scored for a decent price on evilbay. Always been a fan of the Tamiya stuff and I just love the lines of the Jagdpanther so will be starting the build soon and no doubt frequenting these forums for advice. I intend to build this pretty much as stock but that's a promise I have broken on many things as I am a bit of a tinkerer, but then a lot of us are I bet . Hopefully it'll turn out decent enough for me to post up some pictures.

There is a search box located in the top right hand corner of the main banner, but if that does not answer your question just start a new thread and there is bound to be someone coming along shortly who can answer the question or at least point you in the right direction.
I think that it is almost Impossible to leave a tank as 'standard' so if you are already a 'Tinkerer' then you can guarantee that you will end up Modifying it ...... Metal Tracks, Metal Gearboxes, Metal sprockets....and so the list starts to grow
