Sports exhaust, 'go faster' stripes, extra ammo storage, stereo system, 10 CD multi-changer etc, polished tracks, wheels and sprockets. That sort of thing.
It means metal upgrades, IR system and smoke and sound etc I think.

It meens The lower metal hull, track tensioner , metal drive wheels, bearing, etc, all that sort of stuff..full movement and sound system. Their newer kit they are releasing comes with metal barrel and brass photo etching for extra detail.

I have 3 Full Option Tamiya Tanks, Tiger 1 Early Edition F.O, King Tiger F.O, Panther G Late Version F.O, They all came with metal, but it is up to the individual what other upgrades that one is willing to pay for. The Tiger 1 for instance came without a metal barrel so I spent a far bit on upgrades. (see "Tamiya Tiger 131" post and you will see what upgrades I got)

hi TankLover the King Tiger came with a metal barrel, so I purchased a metal muzzle break, and as for the Panther G it came with a metal barrel but there is an issue with the standard Mantle as the hole for the barrel is too big but a mate in our tank club happened to have a schumo metal mantle for late Panther G. He gave that to me. It saved another headache. I did get a metal muzzle break as well.
I had to install a counter balance weight in the back of the turret of the Panther G as it was front heavy. Tamiya supply a balance weight with the King Tiger kit.
Hope this helps

Thank you.
Which Tamiya tank do you like best in terms of sound effect, movements, controls ? Do they all have the same engine box ?
