How to remove paint?

Does anyone know how to remove all the paint off a tank and start over?

Brake fluid , you can use old stuff . Just soak the parts , overnight or so , scrub and rinse off with clean water ( don't leave any residue , it'll affect your new paint job ) It's perfectly safe on plastic
There are household liquids that do the same thing , but I forget which . I'm sure some of our gurus will let you know .

easy=off oven cleaner. 30 minutes rinse with warm water,spray again let soak 30 minutes using a toothbrush scrub the hull features,rinse in warm water,done.
Look at my Jagdpanther build,and the original Painting and weathering in grey thread,Oz and me both in that thread removed the paint from two Tigers,one had Tamiya paints,the other Testors Model Master enamels. Both tanks stripped to the plastic. These hulls are tough,and the oven-cleaner works.But note,not the cheap brands,use EASY-OFF Name brand here in the USA.

Blake didn't mention not to use the Blue can of Easy Off. It doesn't work nearly as well as the yellow can. When you can, seal the item in a container you can put a lid on. It works much faster.

Soak the parts in the all purpose cleaner named "Simple Green" It is non toxic, and completely safe for plastic, rubber and all metals. Give it a day or two to work and the paint will bubble up, ready to be washed off with water and a brush. Also, since it is a cleaning fluid (soap) it makes cleaning the parts easy. You don't have to worry about any residue being left behind.
