Well was wondering how many have a new project they are getting ready to start or thinking about starting.??? I know there are some ongoing one's being done here on the forum now.For me now that the hollidays are out of the way,got to decide what to work on next.
I was hot and heavy into the HO trains for a while, got lots of material just setting there waiting for me to continue.(think I need a break from trains for a while  ??? but don't know yet). Got hot and heavy into the boats for a while due to some darn nice weather we was having.Still can't get away from these Darn Tanks (can't shake the hook- ;D )came very close to buying a few of the 1/35 static models to put togeather.(may still be a good idea)
Also still have a 1/12 heilang tank that I had planned on up-grading down the road (it's new and still a stock tank),but I have allready done three of these.I'm leaning more to working on tanks again for a while, but will have to ponder what to do for a few more days I guess.Anyone else trying to figure out whats next----????                          BIGMIG  ;D ;D ;D

My progect for 2009 is to finish off the projects I started in 2004/05/06 etc.

My first, a 1/8 Panther still looks like it was the result of a bad mating between an A and G version

The Tamiya Israeli M50 still has an incorrect muzzle brake

The Egyptian T34 needs a repaint in proper colours with graffiti by somebody who can write arabic properly

The 1/12 Scammell has been shelved until I can find a method of making convincing front mudguards, but it doesn't really matter because its only a prototype for a possible 1/6 version anyway. Trouble is, I really enjoy running it through the worst crap I can find!

The boxed Gepard that I bought  looked a bargain  - 225 quid, boxed but part assembled, with Kenny Kong tracks and 2 speed (Aber ?) gearbox. Then I found that the gearbox was seized and the upper hull/turret had been assembled with help from the superglue fairy.
I've had the chassis running round the garden on 8 cells. On low speed it will go over anything, on high speed it takes off like a tomcat being persued by the vet. Now I have the correct operation of the search radar to sort out, but at least I've got the sounds working well. Oh boy guys, wait till you hear it !!!!!!

But hopefully available shortly is the T55. This will take top priority on my building list, so all the above will have to take one pace backwards.

However, there is always a the back of my mind the p*ss taker I would like to build - the Bovvy Tiger , but complete with all the spitting and farting that it entertained us with the first time it ran in public.

Finish painting my sPzAbt 501 Tiger and PzIIIN first, then probably back to my Normandy 1st SS Pz Corps pair of PzIVH and Sturmpanzer IV - lots of zimmeritt and schurzen still to be done.
Should keep me out of mischief for the next 6 months  ;)
