Hello all, just signed up a little while ago. Stian is my real name and I have been lurking here for a few day's now for info and tips , as I'm thinking of getting back into rc tanks.

35 years, from Norway, and I have been into model building since I was a kid. But it's been an on off thing. So my skills are somewhat 'ahh'.
Been doing a railroad model for the last 10 years ( it's a winter thing, so not much get done each year)

Rc(cars/heli/boat's) Photo , Hi-Fi , M biking , 3 kid's all into sports take up a lot of time

I owned a Tamiya 1/16 leo back in 2006, traded it for a smashed Traxxas t-max, but since I was the only one with a tank fore miles, I sold it later on(Should never done that :-) )

Then I got a cheap 1/16 heng long rc tank a few years back. And started a full teardown and rebuild.Lot's of fun. But I had some problems with the lower hull (metal) and 3/1 gearboxes, not aligning right, also the metal sprockets+metal tracks were a pain to get right. So again, I sold the stuff.

But now I in again.King tiger is my wish .
Not sure yet if it will be a tamiya ore HL with elmod.
Thanks 4 watching

Thanks 332. BTW, Would it be possible to get a short video with the tamiya KT vs the walterson-heng long KT ? That would be nice.

The Walterson KT is only a roller at the moment, The Tamiya KT runs not sue what you want to see in a vid ?

Hehe, just a sucker for video's that's all. :-). Could be kool to se how they move about in the same terrain , one beeing a tamiya with it's prise tag,and a one beeing a heng long. Not so many video's with the HL king tiger.

Nothin better then tanks vid, well I will try over the weekend of them both, the Walterson has a full metal hull from rctank.de so it also has torrsion bar suspension similar to the Tamiya. They both weight in at 5.8 kg mind due thats with the Walterson empty inside so it should come up a bit heavier then the Tamiya.
Cheers Ken
