Newbie to tanks but not RC

Hey guys!
These RC tanks caught my eye on youtube and I've been obsessed with them ever since (hence the username!). I come from the RC crawling scene and before that the original Tmaxx scene. I don't have a tank yet, but I have my eye on a HL Tiger 1. I've seen some awesome mods and hacks so I look forward to hanging out!

Hi TankOCD,
The HL Tiger is great (not that I’m bias with two LOL). The can do no end of modifications to it. Currently one is reasonably standard, added recoil, metal barrel, flash unit, low ratio gearbox, improved smoker. Other one is now about 10% original HL Tiger, rest is upgrade parts.
Ian.

Hi and welcome to the forum!! If your looking for a tank that I would go for the new panther g With recoil from welsh dragon or the new henglong king tiger! As there's sooooo much wrong on there tiger tank!!! For a start the turret is the wrong shape and the turret ring is in the wrong place and the list is a massive one!!! If I could do it over I would go for a HL panther or kingtiger I've spent abot £300 on sorting my tiger and I've not finished yet !!!Oh I nearly forgot were about are you north or south! Regards Gary.
