RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hi all I am new here and to rc tanks, and have a question, I am going to convert a static Tamiya King Tiger kit to rc (36201) and was wondering if I could use to save money all the electrics eg, smoke unit transmitter mfu board and anything else to run it, I have the Tamiya motors and gear boxs, but thats it, if anyone has done this or knows if it will work any help will be much appreciated thank you.

If it was me..and wanting to save on the old cash flow to start to project off. I would dump an Rx18 in her for now. That will get you rolling.
Then as the old pocket allows,upgrade the bits and bobs with any thing you wanted. eg tamyia ,elmod etc etc.
