king tiger tracks

hi there does anyone know the best way to tighten the tracks on my tamiya king tiger have taken 3 links out each side and there still sagging there metal tracks forgot to say also whats the best and cheapest metal wheels for a tamiya tiger 1

Use the rear wheel idler adjuster. That will do the trick for you. Look in the Tamyia manual it shows you in there how to do just that.

The manuals are posted in the download section, You are looking for Metal Tiger wheels? Asiatam will work,designed to fit the same control arm axle,which should come with the wheels set. Check out Welshdragon s site for more information.

Tamiya Tiger Manual page12-14 these pages show the axles and installed in the wheels,then attached to the control arms,retained by a small grub screw against the flat section of the axle,the wheel set has axles with the same attachment point.
Below are the Tamiya King Tiger Track adjustment system,loosen the clamp bolts pull back on the tensioner arm/wheels and tighten the clamp bolts.

thank you so much for the help and saxondog your a star i dont think theres been one problem you couldnt fix thank you its so much help when theres pics if poss. saxondog we in england had a tv show called jim fixed it for me and i think we should do the same for you in a faq with saxondag will check out the wheels keep up the good work fellas you learn something everyday with this hobby many thanks darren
