Help. I had my tank for a couple days now. First on side of the track dies on me so I opened it and it appears that the RX18 board is fried. Does anyone know how to fix this or where to get parts in the States? :(

1st off swap the motor wire round on the Rx18, to confirm its not one of the motors died. One other thing to look at, just try the track by hand that stopped working. To make sure it doesn't jam up at some point.
Rx18 is very easy just to swap out for a new..just plug and play.
As from where to get one ..try ebay you will find quite a few on there.

Thanks Caddy:

I swapped it and the motor is still fine. But as for the little board, 2 MOSFETs are fried (The ones on the right side). The other two MOSFETs for the left is fine and so is the rest of the board. Most of the boards are ebay, but international since I live in Wisconsin, US. Does anyone have a spare, or a scrap where I can replace the little board?

Try RCTankWars website as is US based. Like Caddyshack says easy to change the RX18 but make sure the motor, gearbox and track turn freely to make sure it doesn't happen again.

While I try to search for an RX18, here are some photos of my KV-1. It's currently stock, but I've removed the two side screws in the rear for easy access inside the hull. That's all for now.

Check this older post out, fan cooling is one protection, in-line fusible links in the motor leads are also a precaution worth the trouble. My tanks have fan cooling RX18 UNITS,these are also mounted using all-thread nuts. This and a large fan on the bottom with a smaller upper fan creates massive airflow,no heat can build up so the cooler mosfets handle the higher amps under a load.

If you replace the RX18,Phil @ RCTANKWARS in California had the fans and possibly unit ready equipped with the fan,but the real problem may still be another issue, what caused the over amperage?
