Northern (England) Meet Up 19th Feb

A few of us are having a meet up on the 19th Feb in Hyde (near Manchester). So don’t be shy come along and say hi.
It will be held at the Old Scout Hut, Knivton Stree, Hyde SK14 2PU, between 11am – 5pm. There will be a £5 per person charge for the use of the hut.
Feel free to bring along your favorite tank to show off, do battle, etc.

I think we should all give each other a pat on the back
especially Mark as he has got us the use of a great place!and sorted it and booked it ! For us all so cheers for that Mark! I'll buy your drinks on the day lol

i realy cant wait i've only ever been to one meet and it was brill now i have more tanks and a decent charger
ps has anyone got any buildings? i have a half finished church a small hut and a small bridge that needs fixing

This is my first meet! But I am sorted for charging my battery's as with buggy racing I have a nice balance charger that will charge lipos and normal 7.2 battery's we have in our tanks plus I can set the charge rate it plugs into the mains and on to a 12v car battery! Oh talking of that can we charge of the scout hut or shall I bring my car battery ! I'll bring it anyway lol even got a soldering iron that 12v that works off my car battery! Just in case a wire comes lose! I haven't any buildings but I do have two concrete ramps I made when I was doing my patio you put them side by side not even tried my tank on them yet!

hi yes we can charge our batteries we might have to comendeer a kitchen bench for refueling

Great stuff !! I've got a folding table I can bring as well if needed do you think we should take an 6 gang extension socket for the chargers ! Mite not be enough plug sockets to go around!!!!!!
oh and there a chap on the other forum that bully panther! He said hes having a word with the SWAG lads and they mite come!!!!!!!! That's a lot of Tanks!!!!!!
