Harold, you did such a GREAT job on this! Years ago, I bought a conversion kit to make a horseshoe turret out of the stock one, but it used 0.040" sheet to make up the sides; and I never thought that would be thick enough to be very sturdy. Consequently, it has just sat in the box waiting for me to get back to it. Your turret is an inspiration, and along with the new super-detail book for the Stuart, I really need to re-start mine.
