As its like the Eastern front in Staffordshire at the moment thought I'd take the PzIV out for a run;

Great pic!! How did it perform in the snow did it clog up anywhere ?

It eventually threw a track off the front right sprocket and spun but that was after charging some particularily icy snow-was fine in the powder stuff though!

I wonder if the snow tracks you can get would of made any difference in the track coming off! Have you fitted adjustable track tensioners on it

Don't think either would make the difference-removal of front fender or a hinged fender might help-cos it was the build up of icy snow under here that caused the problem Perhaps that's why you see so many war time pics with the fenders bent or ripped off.

nice paint work mate snow just seems right with a panzer 4 did mine in snow keep up the good work fella
