If tamiya is not on thie list why? ..is that because of the cost. If so you need to put some price ranges up as well.

Yes it is the cost, who will have 1k to get a rc tank? the price can be $0-200 USD (I know that this a UK form but I live in the US and looking for a good tank for that is cheap from a US website.)

Well for the money you have to spend . You are kind of looking at Hl door step and such like models. The only problem comes is the quality of the donor model. As up grades are going to be heading in the price range of a Tamiya kit when finished. That was for the electronics upgrade as well.
So its 2nd hand,and hope you get a good deal. Or new Hl with upgrades ,your going to need a bigger pot. For a good Rc tank.
In rc you always end up paying more than you think. If you think one tamiya tank kit is expensive, try flying a 90 size heli. That makes tamiya look very cheap ;) So its a bit of horses for courses ,you get what you pay for in the finish.

Why not save up for a Tamiya kit?? As Caddyshack says, a HL with a load of upgrades will get in the same price range very fast. Have you considered a second hand Tamiya??

Why not just buy a new Heng Long From Welshdragon and use the 10% discount. That's a good deal,and may be less than you think?

http://www.welshdragonmodels.co.uk/pre- ... s-33-c.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Several@ 99.99 before discount,and a Tiger might be much less,can't hurt to ask. E-mail Steve@ Welshdragon and ask,no harm in asking.

Just a note deal doesn't cover Tamiya kits plus deal ends at midnight tonight (13 hours from now).
