Hi raven welcome to the forum, like Tony said it doesnt matter if you think its not as good as some on here its all about enjoying the hobby, and like me once you start reading some of the tips on here it wont be long before you can tackle some of the more tricky modifications  ;)

Hi Raven,
Don't worry about how bad you think your paint job is, there's plenty of guys here who are willing to help - whether its practical tips or breaking out the reference books and advising on colours and patterns, etc.
I'm busy humiliating myself on this thread for instance:  ;)
http://www.rctankwarfare.com/Forums/ind ... 817.0.html

I would recommend getting an airbrush (with a compressor, rather than can based propellant) if you don't have one already, and start out with acrylic paints - I find them much more forgiving to spray than enamels, and a good dose of ammonia-based window cleaner will remove anything that you're not happy with - where as brushed enamel tend to build up and smother finer details. I'm sure others here would disagree, but thats just my experience as a guy who was totaly new to painting 1/16th scale models no more than 8 months ago.  ;D

Anyway - welcome!
Mart
