DIETRICH Knows, we purchased these parts before. It was like a mail order build a tank situation. Every month the parts would arrive until completion I believe.
Try a pm to him and he may have the details,I just don't recall the company name. If your considering using these parts they will work with some minor modifications, but we paid much less. cheers Sax

Hi,
It is the first part of the 'buy each month metal Tiger 1' It cost £5.00 I think. I used the hatches and shelved the rest.

First issue with those parts was going for 50p to persuade you to build it. The parts are metal but later items were a sort of ABS plastic that was not very detailed. I had all the issues to build the turret and the hull top. I then swapped the parts with panzer3 and he has done a brilliant job on a late model RC Tiger the pics are on here and RC tank regiment.

Have these parts in my bits box. Also have the late turret roof. Will probably never get to use them. Some kind of diecast metal. That guy is asking silly price.

This is indeed the first installment of the Hachette Build Your Own Tiger series that was launched in the UK in August 2010. It is metal and the mantlet is nicely detailed. It also has the correct off-centre alignment for the gun. However the barrel is poor and, as you see, made in two halves. The muzzle brake would fit either a HL or Tamiya Tiger with a little modification. The Hachette Tiger is a really mixed bag but worth looking out for when issues come up on ebay for some parts, e.g. the cupola, AA MG mount, turret stowage box, etc
