Hi

I have been looking at the 1/16 R/C Leopard Full Option Model Tank Kit for a long time and finally finished enough projects to be able to start another I have 2 tamiya 1/14 trucks and think this tank will look good on the trailer.

I just have a couple of questions to ask

First
does this kit come with full ball bearings or are they the brass bush/shims (like the trucks)

if they are the brass things are they ok or is it advised to use proper ball bearings

Second
i have found a german supplier on ebay and didnt know if anyone else has used this supplier
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150528593578" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Item Number :- 150528593578

And finally are there any tips i need to know before starting this build

As much info would be grateful

Thank you

Ady

Hi Adi,
Welcome to the forum
Yo are right in thinking it looks good on the Tam 1/14 trucks  , here's my 2A6 on my King Hauler.

You can't get a low loader in the Tam 1/14 so you have to improvise/ scratch build. Mine was a converted Bruder low loader.
Can't remember on the bearings/ bush issue, but can say that its a fantastic good quality kit and runs realy well.
Not come across that supplier before so can't help there, sorry. From what I can remember, the price looks good.
You may want to get the upgrades idlers before you start and any other metal upgrade parts that take your fancy.
Metal tracks are another good addition, (pricy, but if your're shelling out for the kit, another £100 or so might not be too much),
but not essential.
Hope that helps a bit.

Welcome to the forum, the German King Tigers benefit from the bearing upgrade so perhaps if offered the bearing upgrade would be money well spent.
