Hi Folks .
I am in need of some assistance please.
I am trying to fix my friends Heng Feng Jagdtiger.
I have an RX 18 unit to fit to replace the old board but the wiring seems to be the wrong way around does anyone have any diagrams of the wiring that is in the tank and the rx 18 so I can wire this thing up .
Also will the original transmitter and receiver board work with the rx 18 or does it need the H/L tmitter and receiver board to make it work.

Any pics or info would be appreciated.
I can post pics of the original board if reqd.

Not sure about the system in the Heng Feng, pictures would help? But the wiring diagrams for the RX18 are on this forum. Here is a link to the wiring schematic.

If you follow the link post it should enable you to complete the upgrade. The search function will also help you find additional information.Can you tell what control unit you are replacing i.e. rx13,rx14 ?

hi sax. many thx for your prompt reply.. . after quite a bit of examination i have concluded that the heng feng is essentually matorro and matorro and heng long are not compatable although they look the same boards they are wired very differently and some of the polarity is also reversed. i have now installed the rx 18 with a heng long receiver board and heng long transmitter and now the rx18 works after reversing most of the polarity. just have to re wire the upper hull from matorro / heng feng spec to allign with heng long spec. i can post the conversion specs on here when finished if anyone would be interested.. . regards sub.

excellent idea,the more we map these systems the better chances the next guys will benefit from your hard work. Glad you were able to work this problem out.
