Goten tag meine Freunden!
Now that I have all the bugs worked out on mt Panzer Tiger's insides its time to start thinking
( OUCH! ) thats smarts

about what theater and paint scheme I will use.
I don't have much in the way of books on Panzer's and there is not a big variety onLine......soooo.....
What are some of the most 'stand' out or cool paint jobs that you have seen?
I would like to stay with something that was real if possible.
Danke!

Feb.1943 the base color was changed from GRAY (Dunkelgrua) to Tan or (Dunkelgleb aust Munster) the camo patterns evolved using to additional colors added in the field for the most part, these were the Redbrown(Rotbruan) and Dark Olive Green(Olivgruen).
Also check out the Painting and Weathering section for some more information.

also dont forget that all tigers were simply painted one colour from the factory. they came with a spray gun inside the tank, but that was usually thrown away or sold for booze. most tigers were painted by thier crews, so there is a huge variation in schemes. also once the spray gun was gone the crews used whatever they could find to paint with, i.e rags , branches etc so it wasnt really the best job. have fun.

Thanks. I like the idea of having some room for creativeness.
