I got the HL tiger I from a local seller here in the US in late 2009, I actually bought this one (pictured) and another one you all may know of it as the "PANTIGER" lol more on this in a bit, nuff said, but i bought this specific tank because i always love WWII German armor as a boy growing up. So as for the TIGER I it was one of the very first produced TIGERS from HL, meaning, in had cheap plastic gears, an toy like drive system, but, it did shoot bb's and make smoke, haha so i when to town all over the place on this tank and got it up to WWII era spec, custom in-town battle wethering, mortor shell marks on turret area, etc, as for the "PANTIGER" i ripped it to shreds and used its internals for spare parts and its proportional drive system, its not the best, but it sure was better than the one that came in the HL tiger (stock).
enjoy the pictures of her!

hey thanks, yea indeed, this is a hobby for the determined, and in most cases very expensive, the tank you see in the pics "was mine" but decided to donate her to a good buddy of mine, now moving up to 1/6th scale, I have a Mark-1 1/6 scale TIGER 2B (formally the KING TIGER) on its way to my doorstep, and a 1/6 B.R.A Ausf G Panther tank on order, and in the meantime I'm reworking the internals of my 1/6 M5A1 stuart tank from 21st century, I LUVE THESE MONSTERS!!!! looks like I got the next 10yrs busy with my Hobby or is it an addiction really? lol
