Hi everyone
I have been on a slow but fun road with RC tanks, starting of with a 1/24 and later getting a Henglong 1/16th Pershing and just recently a Tiger 1 with sound, smoke and metal construction!
I made a video of them all recently!

What I would love it a 1/16 Churchill, is such a tank made anywhere?
Cheers
Mike

Hi
Welcome to the forum Mike, from a little way down the road in Bournemouth.
I liked the start of your video, the voice over, (not on a sound board, just edited in).
From then on it was your video so your choice for the rest.
Your comment, models a little fast, but that is usually the case with 1/16th scale. some owners want to be an F1 driver.
1/16 Churchill there are plenty of guys on the forum who can steer you in the right direction with that one.
If you wanted to go larger to a scratch build 1/6th scale. I know where plans are available, but you would have to contact the owner producer direct yourself.

Mike, Excellent Video of the Taigen Tiger I, I would like to see the Idler wheel adjustment method they employ? But other wise the lower hull seems a duplicate of the Asiatam Lower Hull, which is not a negative. Mine is over two years old and works perfectly. My added weight and metal construction is 20 lbs. So I would be interested in the weight of your tank?
Sorry,A very warm welcome to you,and thanks for sharing your experience with the Tiger I ,well done mate.

Oh yeah I'd love to move up to 1/6th but think I'll have to stop at 16th for now.
I am guessing the Churchill is too complex for the manufacturers to make then?

Hi Mike
There are 1/16th Churchill’s out there. just not my interest.
Just a thought about the 1/6th not sure how you regard yourself as a modeller. (assembly or Scratch build).
The reason I mentioned the plans. the two modellers who did the drawings and build of a 1/6th Churchill live in Sussex. So not only plans but advice near by.

Not sure about 1/16th near you, but I’m sure someone will put you right.
00 railways that’s about our 1/72 or 1/76th scale. Yes 1/6th would be a big difference in size and take up a lot of room.
Railway modellers are excellent modeller’s lots of tips to be used on military dioramas, from their websites, landscaping and weathering techniques etc.
Hope you get the information you want about the Churchill. Look forward to seeing you post some pic’s when you get one.

Thanks, if I can get one you will indeed see the pics, well video knowing me LOL
I have been very impressed with the Tiger 1, a big step up in quality, but now I've seen that a 'all metal' tank would be nice!
