Hi all,

we are a main supplier of big scale tanks in 1/6 and other big scale models. We offer tank kits as well as high end custom built r/c tanks ready to run with all bells and whistles. Our business is located in Florida USA but we have good connections to Germany, too.

You find low end tank models from Field of Armor (aka Battle Ready Armor) as well Dragon kits and figures and everything in between in our online shop.
In our workshop in Florida we also do super detailing , airbrushing and weathering for customers who want a more realistic look to their models.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions, email to contact@big-tanks-plant.com.

Thanks
John English

Hi John and Welcome, Has Big Tanks undergone a change in staff or ownership? I'm in Memphis,TN.And may well have an order if the parts are in stock?

But that's another conversation, enjoy our forum and perhaps we can talk later about "Big Tanks" over the Phone? I'll ring you in a few days and we can go from there.

We do have a large scale section, and several members building in the 1/6 scale size.

Best Regards, Saxondog

Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but does anyone know what happened to these guys? The website says the domain name is up for sale, but I'm hoping one of my fellow forum members might have more info and maybe some contact info for these guys. Yes, this is directly related to the search for Hetzer tracks.

I had some dialog with one of the owners via email..but then it bounced back..that was maybe a year or more ago. My guess is that they went out of business. FOA has all the tracks and parts for sale for their various models and maybe they could help.

Unfortunately the Hetzer uses a unique track and the only other vehicles I know of that used that track are the 38T and the Marder. FOA does not make Hetzer tracks, no one does, that's why I've been looking at Marder tracks, which they also don't make. Chunwai has them ($700 with shipping) but they look quite different from what I have and I'd probably need their sprockets and mine is a 12mm keyed shaft which theirs probably won't be (but as long as it's not a bigger than 12mm hole I can bore it and slot a keyway). I heard Big Tanks makes a Marder but then I just read a post that said their Marder is just the Chunwai model anyway. The joys of RC Tanking. :'( :'( :'(
